Pasji Rep

HGW Co

Gabernik23

Gabernik 23 is a boutique, family-run winery in Štajerska (Styria), Slovenia, led by Janko Bogatič who began bottling his own wines under the Gabernik 23 label in 2018 after many years working family vineyards.  They cultivate around 9 hectares near Ritoznoj, often using “unfashionable” grape varieties like Yellow Muscat and Zweigelt, and their winemaking is natural/minimal intervention (wild ferments, low sulphur) aiming for fresh, expressive wines with modest alcohol.

Signature bottlings such as the ‘Krone’ and ‘Kartäuser’ showcase the unique character of each site, earning acclaim from international critics and collectors alike.

Domaine Kirrenbourg

Nestled on the granite-rich slopes of the Grand Crus Schlossberg and Brand in Alsace, Domaine Kirrenbourg operates with a distinct vision of biodynamic viticulture and a clear focus on terroir-driven wines. Their Rieslings, be it grand cru or not, are among the best in Alsace.  Their flagship Pinot Noir “Cuvée Mathieu” has earned cult status -  when the winner of the “Best Sommelier in the World” competition tasted it blind on stage, they believed it was a bottle of Richebourg.

Cantina Il Torrione

Nestled beneath the medieval village of Saragano in Umbria, Cantina Il Torrione blends historic estate charm with a modern artisanal approach to winemaking. Guided by passionate Belgian entrepreneurs, the estate focuses on terroir-driven wines crafted from Sagrantino, Sangiovese & Merlot.  At Slurp they will present their new Rosso 2020 among others.

Winelovers

Founded in the Antwerp region, Winelovers began as a wine-tasting club of three friends united by a shared passion for wine and gastronomy. Today they have developed into a collective brand of wines for wine-lovers, by wine-lovers: every wine in their portfolio undergoes a rigorous two-step selection process. First the Winelovers team searches for wines they personally find delicious and which offer excellent quality-to-price ratio. Second, the shortlisted wines are tasted by a panel made up of their own customers — the “Winelovers panel” — and only if a majority of that panel approves the wine (and accepts the price) is the wine adopted into the assortment.

All approved wines are then bottled under the Winelovers label, offering a combination of accessibility, authenticity and value. winelovers.be Their philosophy places a strong emphasis on transparency, fair pricing and direct connection between winemaker, panel and consumer.

Söhm & Kracher

Nestled in eastern Austria, the Sohm & Kracher project began in 2009 when celebrated sommelier Aldo Sohm and winemaker Gerhard Kracher pooled their passion for terroir-driven whites and launched a new label to express site and the variety Grüner Veltliner in a fresh light.

Today, the wines come from parcels in Weinviertel and Burgenland, rooted on limestone-rich soils, and are crafted with the clarity, finesse and longevity often associated with the finest Burgundies.

One of the most remarkable developments: they now produce a pure Chardonnay — the 2022 Chardonnay “St. Georg” — grown right alongside the St. Georg Grüner Veltliner parcel. This wine displays a mineral precision, subtle salinity and a freshness in style that can genuinely compete with top white Burgundies.

Kracher

Situated in Illmitz, in Austria’s Burgenland region near Lake Neusiedl, Weinlaubenhof Kracher stands as one of the world’s most iconic producers of noble-sweet wines. The estate was founded and brought to international fame by the late Alois Kracher, whose visionary craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail placed Austrian dessert wines firmly on the global stage. Today his son Gerhard Kracher continues that legacy, crafting wines that combine purity, intensity and extraordinary balance. Benefiting from the unique Seewinkel micro-climate, where warm days and cool, misty nights encourage the formation of noble rot, Kracher’s wines achieve a natural concentration and aromatic complexity unmatched in their category. Chardonnay, Welschriesling, Traminer and Scheurebe are transformed here into wines of dazzling sweetness, clarity and longevity — expressions that stand alongside the greatest dessert wines of the world.
